I am
Jon Stanford and I am an enthusiastic car enthusiast. My vehicles are stored as clean as possible. I use only the latest procedures I find on the Internet. In truth, I seldom drive in the rain!

I have got some strategies for you about keeping your vehicle in like-new state. It is critical to clean your car twice every seven days. even though it is raining cats and dogs, wash your car. This will pay off in a major way over the life of your car or truck. If you must make use of an automated car wash.

Wipe down your vehicle's inside on every other carwash. The dirt and lint in your dash, console, map storage compartments, etc., accumulates and will become hard to remove quickly., prevent the long-term build-up of soil.

Every 4th car wash, that's every two weeks, perform a spot wash of your floor coverings and floor mats. It's quite easy to do if you undertake this frequently. Buy carpet shampoo and rigid carpet brushes from an automotive store. Brand just isn't important. Next, scrub your carpets while dry with this stiff carpet brush. Then vacuum. Spray the shampoo fluid on mats and carpets. Don't use too much, as it will leave a odor and be difficult to remove. Scrub into a foam. Extract the foam. Now grab a handful of bath towels. Scrub the freshly shampooed carpets with your rags.

Every fourth wash, clean your windows inside and out with a clean microfiber glass towel and a non-amonia glass cleaner. Look at your windows from multiple angles as you work, preferably in direct sun. Instead of obsessing about quality, be obsessive about consistency. Don't assume that your interior windows will stay clean for long. The glues used to assemble your car evaporate over time and fog up your windows perpetually. The more frequently you clean your windows, the better visibility you will have in every direction.

Lastly, use the strongest wheel cleaner available to you. The right wheel cleaner applied as often as twice a week prevents the long term discoloration of your wheels. If you are consistent about washing your car twice weekly, you will have so little dirt and brake dust on your wheels that you can simply wet your wheels, then spray Wheel Brightener, then wet them again to get them fully clean again.
